Image AI that also runs on AMD cards
We are building our own interface for image models – built like ComfyUI, but on Vulkan instead of CUDA. That way AMD graphics cards simply join in. It will be released besplatno.
Working title:Klecks – the final name is not settled yet.
Free, no account and no licence needed – 3 MB. Unpack the folder and place it next to or inside the Qwirbel folder; it's there on the next start.

Our own interface for image AI
Built like ComfyUI: connect building blocks, assemble your own pipelines, see every step. Just ours – and designed to be understandable from the start.
Vulkan instead of forced CUDA
The compute runs through Vulkan. That is the decisive difference: without an NVIDIA card you no longer have to fight your way through ROCm.
AMD cards simply join in
That is exactly the point. A Radeon should be able to generate images without spending three evenings in forums first.
Wired into Qwirbel
Qwirbel can talk to it directly – just like it does with ComfyUI today. Use both and you get the same image features in the chat.
Since version 2.6 also for language models
Klecks doesn't only run images – on request it runs the chat models too. The models stay where they are, nothing is downloaded again, and Ollama remains selectable alongside.
Measured ~20% faster on AMD
When writing text, the Vulkan path produced around 20 percent more text per second on an AMD card than the previous one. Measured on one card, not on all – which is why the old path stays the default until the new one demonstrably matches it on your machine.
Šta ljudi pitaju
What does it cost?
Nothing. Klecks will be released free of charge – whether or not you bought Qwirbel.
When is it coming?
It is being built. We deliberately name a date only once it truly holds – better late than a broken promise. This page and the updates page will have it first.
Do I need Qwirbel for it?
No. It runs on its own. If you do have Qwirbel, you can additionally use it straight from the chat.
Does it replace ComfyUI in Qwirbel?
No. ComfyUI stays integrated as before. This comes in addition – above all for people with AMD cards.
How does it get onto my machine?
Put the Klecks folder next to or inside the Qwirbel folder – that's all. Qwirbel looks in the obvious places and finds it on the next start. No path to enter, no box to tick. If no folder is there, nothing happens.
Does it occupy my graphics card even when unused?
No. The service itself is just a small server and never loads a model on its own. Memory is only used by a model you actually load.
And until then?
Qwirbel already generates images, video and music locally today – via ComfyUI, with guided setup. The quickest way to see it is the demo mode.
